You do need some tools. You don’t need the most expensive tools in the world. Cheap tools work too! Buy your tools at garage sales and roadside stands, unless you’re the type that needs to spend lavish sums of money buying ‘the best’. It’s your call, but it don’t change the size of a 10mm nut. Yea, I know, it’s one of those quality thangs.

You can’t never have too many shop rags. All those old socks, T-shirts, and towels find their way into my shop. Of course, you could be the type that just has to buy shiny new red ones at the parts store. They won’t be pretty very long, trust me.

Analog Multi-meter and light tester

Warning, there will be times when you have to have two 10mm wrinches. Sometimes there is no way around shit, none, trust me. That’s one reason why I buy cheap tools. I have two of most everything.

A multi-meter and the simplest of electrical testers are super handy, even if you have no idea why electricity even exists. I don’t. Still you can read voltage, and you can test continuity, which is about all you need to do. Both of these items are very inexpensive, and are well worth the dollars.
